Randy L. Moyer, 50, of Jonestown, passed away on Monday May 4, 2009, in Bethel Twp. He was the husband of Elaine M. "Susie" Arnold Moyer, and on September 25th they would have celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary. Randy was a devoted husband, father, and a trusted friend to many. Born in Lebanon on August 2, 1958, he was the son of Richard F. and Vivian Conner Moyer of Lebanon. Randy graduated from Lebanon High class of 1976. For 25 years he worked at Pennfield Farms in Fredericksburg and was currently working for GAF Materials, Myerstown, as a truck driver. He was a very faithful and active member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Jonestown where he served as a Deacon. He and his family also served as church sextons for 10+ years. Randy loved to both play and watch sports and in turn coached and volunteered for many Northern Lebanon soccer, basketball, and baseball teams since 1991. For eight years he was the President of the NL Boys Basketball Booster Club as well as an active member of the Union County Sportsmen's Club and the Buckeye Gun Club. Randy was also an active member of The Team, a leadership development organization. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his sons, Lee Moyer and Beau Moyer both of Jonestown; a brother, James Moyer and wife Karen of Lebanon; a sister, Ann, wife of Lloyd Ritchie of Jonestown; and his loyal friend Toby, the family dog. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John's United Church of Christ, 120 W. Market St., Jonestown. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00- 9:00 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church at P.O.
