Raymond H. Mull, 89, of the Palmyra Nursing Home, and formerly of Hershey, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, in the Hershey Medical Center. He was born August 6, 1919, in Womelsdorf, Pa. Mr. Mull was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and was a German prisoner of war. He was a retired driver for Interstate Motor Freight Company and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey, Hershey VFW Post 3502, Hershey Italian Lodge, Steelton Moose, and the Fraternal Order of Police. Surviving are his wife, Sue (DiSabella) Mull of the Palmyra Nursing Home; daughter Deborah A. Keen and her husband, Christopher of Hatfield; son John S. Mull of Hummelstown; grandchildren Jennifer and Cory Mull; three brothers, William Mull of Lebanon, Richard "Jim" Mull of Shillington, Harry Mull of Hatfield; sister Geraldine Putt of Lebanon. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at 12 p.m. in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. Viewing will be from 10:30 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 23rd, in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Route 422 and Lucy Avenue, Hershey. Interment with honors will be held Friday, April 24th, at 10:30 a.m. in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2040 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
