(Cramer) Noll, formerly of Myerstown, passed away at Linden Village, Lebanon, on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. She was the wife of Rodney A. Noll of Myerstown. Born in Lebanon, on August 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Marlin and Miriam (Hinkle) Cramer, Lebanon. After graduating from Lebanon High School, class of 1951, she was employed by Keystone Foundry as a secretary, Reading Hospital as a nurse's aid, and was the first Office Manager of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Lebanon. She and Rodney were married on May 22, 1954, at the Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church by the Rev. Chester C. Hollingsworth. She was a lifelong member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Lebanon, where she served as a Sunday school teacher in the Children's and Youth departments, sang in the choirs, and was a member of the Board of Ministries, United Methodist Women, and Covenant Chancel Guild. She was also active in the church's Cub Scouting program where she served as one of the original Den Mothers and later as a Den Leader Coach for the Lebanon County Council. An accomplished violinist, she was also interested in needlework, arranging flowers, gardening, camping, and hiking. She was quiet and unassuming, always ready to lend a hand to help or a shoulder to lean on. She had a very strong character, always ready to go the second mile without judging others and had a strong faith in God. She loved her family and animals of all kinds, but especially dogs. She is survived by her husband, Rodney A. Noll; son, Robert Allen and his wife, Suzanne of Lebanon; daughter, Brenda Louise and her husband, David Rothermel of Jackson, Tenn. Her grandchildren include Michael Noll of Danville, Va., Steven Noll of Lititz, and Thomas Rothermel of Jackson, Tenn. She is also survived by a sister, Nancy Jean, wife of Richard A. Zimmerman of Hershey; and a number of nieces. A memorial service will be held in Covenant United Methodist Church, 346 N. 9th St., Lebanon, on Monday, November 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. Private interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be directed to Covenant United Methodist Church. The Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon, is handling the arrangements.
