Noll, 83, died Friday, October 9, 2009, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Pauline M. Luckenbill Noll. He was born in Cocalico, Lancaster Co., on August 19, 1926, son of the late John H. and Ada Kilhefner Noll. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII. He retired as supervisor for the Richland Boro with 27½ years of service. Mr. Noll was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Richland; Neptune Fire Co., where he served as chief for seven years and asst. chief for 13 years, along with numerous officer positions; Newmanstown Fire Co.; Mt. Aetna Fire Co.; Goodwill Fire Co.; NRA (Rifle); Richland American Legion, where he was Sgt. at Arms for 20 years and commander; Richland Boro Council; Marion Rod & Gun Club; Myerstown VFW; and the Lebanon Co. Firemen's Assoc. He is survived by his sons, Donald Noll and wife, Sandra of Richland, and Kerry Noll and wife, Denise of Richland; four grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; brothers, Lloyd Noll of Myerstown and Rev. Herman Noll of Paoli, Ind.; sisters, Anna Mae Fittery of Ono and Dorothy Gingrich of Lebanon; and stepsister, Jeanette Heisler of Tamaqua. He was preceded in death by his son, LaMarr Noll; sister, Lillian Dry; brothers, John Noll and Robert Noll; stepsister, Miriam Kline; and stepmother, Florence nee Albright Hassler Noll. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Grace U.C.C., 22 Church Road, Richland, where a viewing will begin at 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be made in Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Neptune Fire Co., 20 E. Main St., Richland, PA 17087. The Clauser Funeral Home, Schaefferstown, is handling the arrangements.
