Fowler "Peggy" Margaret F. "Peggy" Fowler Nusbaum, 80, Cornwall Manor Cornwall, died Friday June 5, 2009 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Col. Keith C. Nusbaum. She was born in Everett MA on May 5, 1929 daughter of the late Louis D. and Ellen Beryl Perry Fowler. She was a retired teacher and later retired as an Environmental Education Specialist with the National Wildlife Federation. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Lebanon. She had been active with the ECW at St. James Episcopal Church, Arlington VT. While with the National Wildlife Federation, she wrote Children's Educational Material for schools and environmental studies. She was a former board member of the Bennington County (VT) Affordable Housing Council and a former Trustee for the Episcopal Rockport School. Former board member of the American Red Cross and had been an active volunteer in nature centers with children's education. In addition to her husband she is survived by children: Susan wife of Leon Molye', Falls Church VA; Keith L. Nusbaum and wife Jura Dulys-Nusbaum, Lovettsville VA; Sally Jane wife of Philip Thompson, Arlington TX; Margot Ellen wife of Dr. Robert Giuliano, Wayne PA; H. Jeffrey Nusbaum, Kill Devil Hills NC; Mary K. Nusbaum, Drums; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Ann Cunningham. Funeral service Thursday June 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 6th & Chestnut St, Lebanon. Family and friends will be received immediately following the service in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Episcopal Relief & Development Fund, c/o St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 22 S. 6th St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
