Ortiz, Irma I.     
 
 
Irma I. Ortiz, 62, of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at her home. 
Born in Manhattan, NY, on January 6, 1947, she was the daughter of Higinio 
Ortiz of Humacao, Puerto Rico, and the late Cecilia Medina Ortiz. She was a 
member of Living Water Chapel, Lebanon, where she was a volunteer in the church 
office and a preschool teacher. Irma was a 1965 graduate from Evanderchilds 
High School in Bronx, NY. Surviving in addition to her father are two 
daughters, Venancia, wife of Jose Clavell of Lebanon, and Erica Ortiz of 
Jonestown; brother Higinio Ortiz Jr. of Bronx, NY; sister Doris, wife of Jose 
Sanchez of Bronx, NY; two granddaughters, Emily Cruz and Vanessa Clavell; two 
nephews, Pablo Cordova and Ricardo Cordova. Funeral services will be held 
Friday July 3, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. from the Living Waters Chapel, 1900 Jay St. 
Lebanon. Interment will be in Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, N. Lebanon Twp. 
Viewing will be held Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church and one hour 
prior to the service at the church. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 
Annville, are in charge of the arrangements.
