  Shirley W. Paponetti PALMYRA Shirley W. Paponetti died Wednesday, August 26, 
  2009, in the Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence, Harrisburg. Born in Valley View, 
  she was a daughter of the late Allen and Mabel G. (Rothermel) Willard. The 
  widow of Paul G. Paponetti, who died May 29, 2008, she was also preceded in 
  death by an infant sister, Pearl Willard. She retired from Ohio Casualty 
  Insurance Company, Harrisburg, and was a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist 
  Church, Palmyra. Shirley was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, gardening, and 
  spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and especially 
  adored her only granddaughter. Surviving are her daughter, Lisa R. Paponetti, 
  wife of Kevin Q. Luu of Annville; granddaughter, Katia P. Luu; brother, Samuel 
  M., husband of Betty J. (Lingle) Willard of Chambersburg; sister, Delores V. 
  Lyman; nephew, Wynn A. Willard of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and her "Beautiful 
  Cats", Fanita and Skipper. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, 
  September 4, 2009, at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 131 Gravel Hill 
  Road, Palmyra, preceded by a visitation from 10 a.m. Burial will be at the 
  convenience of the family in Hershey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be 
  made to Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 131 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra, PA 
  17078.
