  Bernetta M. Peffley Bernetta M. Peffley, 94, of Spang Crest Manor died 
  Saturday, March 14, 2009, in Spang Crest Manor. She was the wife of the late 
  Paul E. Peffley Sr. Born in Lebanon on November 5, 1914, she was the daughter 
  of the late Lewis and Suzanne Dissenger Leedy. She had worked for Acme Markets 
  for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks, and St. 
  Mary's Church. She enjoyed bingo, and spending time with her family, 
  grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. Surviving are 
  two children, Paul E. Jr., husband of Elizabeth Peffley of Lebanon, and 
  Rosemarie, wife of George Gress of Lebanon; eight grandchildren; 21 
  greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Calvin Leedy 
  of Myerstown and Harold Leedy of Schaefferstown; one sister, Catherine Smith of 
  Lititz; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, 
  Lillian Royer; five brothers, Robert, Leroy, Lewis, Eugene and Leonard Leedy; 
  and seven sisters, Isabelle Putt, Verna Zwier, Carmelita Hauer, Marian 
  Touchstone, Doris Karli, Anedith Bowman and Naomi Thierwechter. Funeral Mass 
  Wednesday at 10 from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St., Lebanon 17046. 
  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Tuesday evening, 6-8, at Thompson 
  Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon, and Wednesday morning, 9:30-10, 
  at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Samaritan 
  Hospital Hospice Program, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042.
