  Carol L. (Seavers) Pettey, formerly of Hershey died April 15, 2009 at the 
  Village Oaks Retirement Community in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She was 92. She was 
  the wife of the late Robert L. Pettey who died August 28, 1985. She was born on 
  June 24, 1916 in Lima, PA to Jay V. & Carrie Mae Magee Seavers. During her 
  working years she was employed at the Hershey Chocolate Factory and also as a 
  cafeteria worker for the local schools. She was a member of the First United 
  Methodist Church, Palmyra and was active for many years with the United 
  Methodist Women. She is survived by her son Jay L. husband of Susan K. Pettey, 
  Ft. Wayne, Indiana; her granddaughters Krista Holloway & Kara Pettey and her 
  great grandchild Peyton; her sister Lois J. Miller of Bethel, PA. Private 
  funeral & graveside services were held on Monday, April 20, 2009 with Rev. 
  Samuel D. Fry officiating. Burial was in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Rothermel 
  Funeral Home, Inc., were entrusted with arrangements.
