  Jeffrey M. Place, 50, of Lebanon, Pa., died Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Catherine A. (Sirriannia) 
  Place, to whom he would have been married 20 years on May 6. Born in Lancaster, 
  Pa., on January 14, 1959, he was the son of Susan A. Hartman Place of 
  Lancaster, Pa., and the late Frank Place. He served in the U.S. Navy in Iraq 
  and had been employed as a butcher at Giant's, Cleona, Pa. He enjoyed fishing 
  and camping. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter Amanda Place of 
  Lancaster, Pa.; stepdaughters Sherri Lynn Hoppel of Reading, Pa., and Kelly Jo 
  Ray of Lebanon, Pa.; sister Susan Ann Place of Lancaster, Pa.; one 
  granddaughter; and four step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 
  Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at 10 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington 
  Ave., Myerstown, Pa.
