Potrok, 87, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009, of natural causes. She was the wife of Michael F. Potrok, Jr., who passed away in 2000. Agnes was born in Lebanon, on September 3, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Smetana Brown. She was a retired employee of the Lebanon American Legion. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and she was a life long member of St. Benedict The Abbot Church. She was an active member and leader of the Girl Scouts at St. Cyril & Methodius Church. She also was a member of the Lebanon American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling. She is survived by a two nephews, John J. Brown, Jr., husband of Bonnie R. Goshert- Brown of Mount Gretna, and Michael D. Brown, husband of Kathy Brown of Lebanon; several great-nieces and greatnephews; and a sister-inlaw, Nancy A. Brown. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John J. Brown, Sr. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. from St. Benedict The Abbot Church, 1300 Lehman St. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours are Friday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon.
