  Elsie M. Pyles, 99, of 699 Cherry St., Lebanon, died Sunday, January 11, 2009, 
  in Cedar Haven. She was born November 10, 1909, in Palmyra, daughter of the 
  late Levi and Annie Heid Bowman. She was a member of the Farm Women Group and 
  the senior center. Surviving are daughter Vivian, spouse of Donald Neidigh of 
  Bernville; sisters Bertha Carbaugh of Palmyra and Helen Dell of Lebanon; 
  grandchildren Elaine Nagle, Doreen Kelliher, Dianna Kreiser, Jeanne Simone, 
  Audrey Brubaker, Ronald Fox and Janice Mindy; 17 greatgrandchildren; 10 
  greatgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in 
  death by husband Walter H. Pyles on Nov. 26, 1986, daughter Arlene Fox Patches 
  and grandchild Donna Derr. Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, January 15, 2009, 
  from 1-2 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, 
  followed by services at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park.
