  Martha M. Reed, 85, of Rose Lane, Jonestown, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at 
  Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Maryland. Born December 6, 1923, in 
  Middletown, she was a daughter of the late David and Bertha (Dupler) Kohr. She 
  was retired from H.B. Reese Candy Company, was a member of Shells Evangelical 
  Lutheran Church, Grantville, North Lebanon Senior Center, East Hanover Township 
  Autumn Leaves, and formerly belonged to the Farm Women and Perseverance Fire 
  Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was the widow of Dean Reed, and was also preceded 
  in death by a brother, John Kohr. Surviving are her daughter, Bertha, wife of 
  P. Steve Olson of Mont Alto; step-son William, husband of Nancy Reed of 
  Halifax; brother Ira, husband of Sadako Kohr of Colorado; sisters Sara Nelson 
  of Carlisle and Mary Pankake of Jonestown; grandchildren Doley Cave Jr., Robert 
  Cave and Jennifer Emmons; great-grandchildren Natalie and Zebulon Emmons and 
  Robert Cave Jr. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 
  2009, at Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, 287 Shells Church Road, 
  Grantville, preceded by a viewing from 9 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn 
  Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 
  287 Shells Church Road, Grantville, PA 17028; or to TriCounty Association for 
  the Blind, 1130 South 19th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
