  Helen P. Reedy FREDERICKSBURG Helen P. Reedy, 88, died Thursday August 20, 
  2009, at her residence. She was the wife of Thomas Reedy, who passed away in 
  1983. She was born in Fredericksburg, on February 25, 1921. Helen was the 
  Valedictorian of her graduating class of 1939 from Fredericksburg High School. 
  She was Assistant Postmaster with the Fredericksburg Post Office. She was a 
  member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, where she was active in 
  WECA. She served as treasurer for the cemetery board, volunteered at the 
  Fredericksburg Library, loved walking dogs, especially Greyhounds, and was 
  known by many in Fredericksburg as "Aunt Helen". Surviving are a son, Barry E. 
  Reddy of Endicott, N.Y., and a granddaughter, Jennifer L. Reddy, MD, Ph.D. 
  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, at 2 p.m. from the Kreamer 
  & Lum Funeral Home and Crematory, Rt. 72 and Campmeeting Road, Jonestown. 
  Interment will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Viewing will be 
  held Monday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to 
  the service from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can 
  be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
