   John A. Remlinger, 75, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed on into 
   eternal life to be reunited with his loving wife, Mary V. Kerr Remlinger, and 
   sons Gary Lynn and Jason Remlinger on Monday, March 23, 2009, in Bernville. 
   Born in Lebanon on July 21, 1933, he was the son of the late Anthony J. and 
   Stephanie Lacadia Sophie Kempa Remlinger. He was a member of St. Benedict's 
   Church in Mohnton, Pa. He was a member of the Animal Rescue League and was a 
   U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are five children, Robert M., 
   husband of Sue Remlinger of Bernville, John M., husband of Dolores Remlinger of 
   Columbia, Chris, husband of Marje Remlinger of Reading, Darren, husband of Deb 
   Remlinger of Reading, and Melissa, wife of Ken Miller of Sinking Spring; eight 
   grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Anton Remlinger II 
   of Lebanon; five sisters, Marlene, wife of Clyde Henry of Lebanon, Carrol, wife 
   of Dick Gingrich of Lebanon, Joanne, wife of Jim Light of Lebanon, Louise, wife 
   of John Swisher of Lebanon, and Sharon, wife of Ken Wolfe of Lebanon. Memorial 
   services Wednesday evening at 6 from Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth 
   St., Lebanon 17042. Visitation Wednesday evening, 5-6, prior to the service. 
   Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
