  Gladys R. Ressler RICHLAND Gladys R. Ressler, 85, died Friday, October 23, 
  2009, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Ernest J. 
  Ressler, Sr. to whom she was married 69 years on June 1, 2009. Born in 
  Myerstown, on March 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. and 
  Mae (Wagner) Brown. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg. In 
  addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Carolyn, wife of Rev. 
  Peter Hook of Langhorne; son, Ernest J. Ressler, Jr., husband of Judy Ressler 
  of Mohnton; grandchildren, Russell Ressler, Kristen Ressler, and Stephen Hook; 
  three great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Dengler of Sebring, Fla.; and brother, 
  Ernest Brown of Palmyra. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marian 
  Heffelfinger. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at 11 
  am. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing 
  Wednesday at 10 am. Interment will be at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Stouchsburg. 
  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran 
  Church, 27 Long's Church Lane, Womelsdorf, PA 19567.
