Caroline R. Rissinger, 71, of Bethel died April 21st of natural causes in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She is the wife of Lynn C. Rissinger. They were married 54 years. Born in Bethel, daughter of the late Howard and Mabel (Henninger) Heagy. She was a 1955 graduate of Bethel High School. She was a realtor for Century 21 Krall Real Estate, Lebanon, and had prior worked at Publix Shirt Company, Myerstown, for 29 years in management. She was a charter member of Lebanon Shrine No. 56 White Shrine of Jerusalem, as well as past worthy high priestess, past watchman of shepherds, and supreme instructor. She also was a member of Tiberias Shrine No. 21, Wyomissing. Caroline was a past matron of the Conrad Weiser No. 449 O.E.S., Womelsdorf, and also past president of officers. She was an active member of the Rajah Lady Chanters and served as treasurer for many years. She was queen mother of the Tulpehocken Red Hat group, an excellent card player, and a special friend to "Becky," her Boxer. She was a graduate of Real Estate Students in Harrisburg, receiving her associate broker license in 1992. She also had her GRI designation, a Centurion agent in 1991. In 1997-1998, she received the Silver PAR Excellence Award. She served as a member of special events and education for the Lebanon County Association of Realtors. She also served as Century 21 Krall chairperson for Easter Seals in 1992 and director of professional development for Century 21 Krall Real Estate. She was a member of Zion Blue Mountain U.C.C., Strausstown. Surviving in addition to her husband, two sisters, Katherine Reber of Bethel, Ruth Brightbill, a resident of ECC Retirement Village, Albright, Myerstown. A memorial service with Eastern Star services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in Zion Blue Mountain U.C.C., Albright, Strausstown. Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, is handling arrangements.
