Rogers, 93, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Gertrude T. "Tes" (Flynn) Rogers. Leonard was born in Shenandoah, on October 12, 1916. He was a son of the late Barbara Gilles. He was a retired employee of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and was the 1st Cubmaster of pack #11 at St. Mary's Church. He was a member of the Jonestown Gunning Club, and was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed archery and woodworking. He is survived by two children, Barbara G., wife of Edward A. Miller Sr., of Lebanon, and Leonard "Bud", husband of Mary Ann Rogers, of Encinitas, Calif.; five grandchildren, Edward Miller Jr., Lenann Engler, Elizabeth Thompson, Bill Rogers and Peter Rogers; six greatgrandchildren, Gered, Riley, Morgan, Miles, Ty & Ella; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and a companion, Pauline Wolf. He is the last of his immediate family. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 North 8th St., Lebanon. Interment at Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing hours will be on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, and Saturday 9:30 to 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church.
