  Donald C. Root ROBESONIA Donald C. Root, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 
  2009, in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Connie R. Imboden Root, to 
  whom he was married 29 years. Born in Adamstown, on July 17, 1938, he was the 
  son of the late Paul and Sadie Marx Root. He was in the first class to graduate 
  from Conrad Weiser High School in 1956. Donald was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was 
  employed in trucking operations. He was a member of the Robesonia Fish & Game 
  and the NRA. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his twin sons, James D. 
  Root of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Jeffrey C. Root of Fleetwood; a daughter, 
  Laurie, wife of Richard Harrington of Philadelphia; a brother, John Root of 
  Lake Wynona; two half brothers, Paul Eugene Root and George Root; and four 
  grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 
  2 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. 
  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be 
  held from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions 
  may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., 1501 NW 9th Ave., 
  Miami, FL 33136.
