  Arlene R. Russell, 81, of Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon, and formerly of 
  Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at the Good Samaritan 
  Hospital, Lebanon. She was wife of the late William Russell. Born in East 
  Hanover Township on September 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Marion 
  Walmer Schlasman. She retired from Cedar Haven, where she had worked in the 
  kitchen, and she was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ, 
  Jonestown. She is survived by her sons, Donald L., husband of Janie L. 
  Waybright of Lebanon, Gerald L. Waybright of Front Royal, Va., and Thomas D., 
  husband of Colleen Walmer of Lebanon; five grandchildren; 16 
  greatgrandchildren; and a half sister, Betty Miller of Lititz. She was preceded 
  in death by her son, Wayne G. Waybright; and a half sister, Evelyn Klick. 
  Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at 
  the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N. Progress 
  Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, 
  Jonestown, is in charge of the arrangements.
