Loye E. Sanders Loye E. Sanders, 90, formerly of 1118 Lehman Street, Lebanon, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at Cedar Haven in Lebanon. She was born to the late Robert O. and Irene Mohn Seiders Lentz Ney on March 4, 1919, in Union Twp., Pa. She was a member of the former Memorial United Methodist Church in Lebanon. She was raised by her grandparents, Monroe and Martha Mohn. She and her late husband were the owners and operators of the family owned Sanders Grocery Store in Lebanon. She was a member of the Lebanon Chapter #115 Order of the Eastern Star; White Shrine #56; Order of the Amaranth #131; and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hermit Commandery #24 Knight's Templar. She was a member of the Goodwill Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Lebanon County Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary, and a past president of the Opti Mrs. Club of Lebanon. Surviving are sons Jack L., spouse of Irene Miller Sanders of Gretna Springs, and Lee A., spouse of Caroline Gallup Sanders of Jonestown; grandchildren Joel Sanders of Ponte Verda Beach, Fla., Monica Getz of Bexley, Ohio, Maria Umberger of Cleona, Michelle Teasdale of Jonestown, Walter Sanders of Jonestown, Shane Sanders of Lancaster, Douglas Sanders of Jonestown; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Walter R. "Wally" Sanders (6/4/1999), sister Martha Miller, and brother Arlen Seiders (12/12/2001). Services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, with viewing one hour prior to the service. The Order of the Eastern Star service will be prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Wenger's Cemetery, Jonestown.
