  Elizabeth T. Sands, 86, Ephrata, formerly of Lebanon, entered into rest at 
  Ephrata Community Hospital on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. She was born in 
  Lebanon, a daughter of the late Vincent and Catherine Antal Wattai. She was a 
  member of the former St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Lebanon, and attended Our 
  Mother of Perpetual Help in Ephrata, since moving to Ephrata in 1978. She 
  worked in the office at the F.R. Schreiber Co. of Lititz until her retirement. 
  Surviving are her children, Elizabeth (Betsy), wife of Bruce Frymyer of 
  Ephrata, Timothy L. Paine of Pewee Valley, Ky., and Michael A., husband of 
  Theresa (D'Isabella) Paine of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-
  grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by her 
  son, John R. Paine; and also by four sisters and two brothers, Mary, Catherine, 
  Helen, Margaret, Vincent and John. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 
  p.m. on Friday, January 16th, at St. Cecilia Church, 202 East Lehman St., 
  Lebanon, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. with Father Joseph 
  Scanlin as celebrant. Final commendation and farewell will follow in the Grand 
  View Memorial Park, Annville. Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, 
  Akron/Ephrata.
