  George M. Sauley MYERSTOWN George M. Sauley, 87, formerly of Annville and 
  Palmyra, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Evangelical Congregational 
  Church Retirement Village, Myerstown. Born May 8, 1922, in Annville, he was the 
  son of the late George A. and Edna M. (Swanger) Sauley. He was the widow of 
  Verna M. (Holtzman) Sauley, who died March 25, 2006; and was also preceded by a 
  sister, Kathryn Barnes. Retiring as a general supervisor from Hershey Foods 
  with 22 years service, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Sauley 
  was a member of Palm Lutheran Church, Spring Creek Lodge F. & A. M. #802, 
  Palmyra VFW Post #6417, Society of 213th C.A.A.A. Surviving are son, Kenneth G. 
  Sauley of Sabinsville; daughter, Sondra K. Goodman of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; 
  sisters, Ruth Coleman and Gayle Long both of Annville; two grandchildren; and 
  four great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. 
  Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, 
  preceded by a viewing from 9:30 a.m. Interment, with military honors, will be 
  held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
