  Joyce G. Schwalm, 95, of Richland died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in the Lebanon 
  Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roy J. Schwalm. Born in 
  Krumstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon and Lula Gabler 
  Firestone. She was a member of the Richland Ladies Auxiliary. Joyce enjoyed 
  gardening and making crafts. She is survived by her son: Jared Schwalm and wife 
  Barbara, Richland; grandsons: Todd Sheetz and wife Kelly, York Haven; Davin 
  Sheetz and wife Katie, Newmanstown; granddaughters: Susan wife of Denny Waxman, 
  Philadelphia; Julie wife of Loren Wolgemuth, Lebanon and numerous great and 
  great-great grandchildren; sisters: Olive Bentz, Lillian Schlappich and Irma 
  Henne. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Mary Ann Sheetz; son: Gene 
  Schwalm; brothers: Isaac and Merritt Firestone. Funeral service will be Monday 
  at 11:00 AM in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown where 
  a viewing will be held beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be made in 
  Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Neptune Fire 
  Co. 20 E. Main St., Richland, PA 17087.
