  Russell W. Shaak MYERSTOWN Russell W. Shaak, 74, died Wednesday, October 14, 
  2009, at the EC.C. Retirement Village-Albright Campus. He was the husband of 
  Ruth E. (Gibbel) Shaak, to whom he was married 44 years on April 10, 2009. Born 
  in Myerstown, on September 22, 1935, he was the son of the late Harry and Irene 
  (Althouse) Shaak. He was a graduate of Myerstown High School and served in the 
  U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Hershey Foods, Hershey, after 
  35 years. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethel. In 
  addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Linda, wife of Don Diener of 
  Hershey, Karen Shaak of Myerstown, and Donna, wife of Patrick Eisenhauer of 
  Lebanon; son, Timothy Shaak of Hummelstown; five grandchildren; three great-
  grandchildren; sisters, June, wife of Marvin DeHart of Mt. Aetna, and Shirley 
  Shaak of Lebanon; brothers, Harold Shaak of Kleinfeltersville, Harry, husband 
  of Elda Shaak of Hamburg, and John Shaak of Womelsdorf; and several nieces and 
  nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Rufus, Ray, and Clarence Shaak. 
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at 11:30 am. at 
  Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. There will be a viewing 
  Wednesday at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 
  Annville.
