  Ruth E. Sherman, 85, Countryside Christian Community, Annville, formerly of 
  Lebanon, died Thursday, January 1, 2009, in the Lebanon Good Samaritan 
  Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Sherman, who passed away in 
  2001. She was born in Lebanon on July 4, 1923, daughter of the late Howard R. 
  and Mabel R. Barr Albright. She was a retired seamstress for R&M Dress. She was 
  a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lebanon, a women's card club, and an 
  avid sports fan. Surviving are daughters Ruthann Salgado of Lebanon, Susan, 
  wife of Kenneth Faus of Lititz, Christia, wife of Ronald Roberts of Lebanon; 
  eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-
  greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy Fertig, Evelyn 
  Fertig and Evelyn Savidge. Funeral service Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at 10 
  a.m., Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon, where a 
  viewing will be held Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. Interment Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery.
