  Steve J. Sherman, 38, of Wernersville, Pa., died Friday, June 26, 2009, at the 
  Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, Pa., from injuries sustained 
  when struck by a vehicle in the 4600 block of Penn Avenue in South Heidelberg 
  Township, Berks County, on June 14, 2009. Born in Lebanon, Pa., on June 5, 
  1971, he was the son of James M., Jr. and Earla M. (Gerhart) Sherman of 
  Newmanstown. He was a guitar and banjo teacher, enjoyed music and was a 
  Volkswagen bus enthusiast and an avid reader. A Memorial service will be held 
  Monday, July 6, 2009, at 7 p.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington 
  Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. 
  Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
