She was born July 30, 1920, to the late I. Shoop and spouse Margaret Kleiser Shoop in Lebanon. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Lebanon. She worked as a sewing machine operator for Herman Handkerchief and Steffy's Shoe Factory. She was a member of First Aid and Safety Patrol. She loved camping, hockey games, attending the races, watching "Deal or No Deal" and listening to Jeff Foxworthy. Surviving are son Barry, Sr., spouse of Goni Lyter of Huntingdon; grandchildren Sharon, spouse of Fredrick Glinsky of Indiana, Pa.; Barry E., Jr., spouse of Bethany Lyter of Lebanon; greatgrandchildren Kelsey Lyter of Lebanon, Natalie Glinsky, Ashley Glinsky, Lauren Glinsky, Maggie Glinsky all of Indiana, Pa. She was preceded in death by husband Herman W. Shiner (8/02/2006). Services will be held Thursday, February 26, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon, with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Ebenezer "Covenant" Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 2323 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA, 17046.
