  Shirey, Idalene M.   
   
  Idalene M. Shirey, 71, of Bethel Twp., died January 9th, of natural causes in 
  Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. Her husband, George W. Shirey, Jr., 
  died November 11, 2003. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late 
  Franklin and Mildred (Bellone) Brown. She was a graduate of Bethel High School. 
  She was employed at the former Sterling Health, Myerstown. Idalene was a loving 
  wife and mother and devoted to her family. She is survived by Four Sons: George 
  W. Shirey, III husband of Patty, Womelsdorf; John P. Shirey, Bethel Twp.; David 
  L. Shirey husband of April, Pine Grove; Paul E. Shirey husband of Crystal, 
  Shillington; Daughter Denise M. wife of John W. Heckrote, Piedmont, AL; Five 
  Brothers: Franklin A. Brown, Leesport; Paul E. Bryan, Myerstown; Alonzo E. 
  Brown, San Antonio, TX; James W. Brown, Bethel, and Salvatore M. Bellone, 
  Reading; Three Sisters: Mary Brandt, Myerstown; Helene G. Reppert, Bethel; 
  Barbara A. Gossard, Mt. Gretna. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: 
  Shelli, Aaron, Zachary, Derek, Gavin, Canaan, Marisa, Gage, and Dontae, and Six 
  Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Ferdinand M. Brown. 
  Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 am in Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg. 
  Interment at Altalaha Church Cemetery, Rehrersburg. Friends are invited to call 
  Tuesday 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
