She was the wife of the late Retired Master Sgt. Milton L. "Mick" Sholley who died in 2005. Born in Schuylkill Haven on January 9, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William F., Sr. and Mamie Straub Bittle. She served as a secretary for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the State Department, and the Department of Defense. She was a 1936 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, a member of the Annville Church of the Brethren, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving is a brother William F. Bittle, Jr. of Cochranville, PA, two sisters Dorothy J. Bittle of Pottsville and Kathryn E. Bittle of Schuylkill Haven, a sister-in-law Faith W. Bittle of Baltimore, MD, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers Ivan S. Bittle and Austin W. Bittle and a sister Mary Ellen Bittle. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM from South Annville Cemetery, South Annville Twp. No viewing or visitation. In lieu flowers contributions may be made to her church 495 E. Maple Street, Annville, PA 17003 or the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is handling arrangements.
