Sholly, 78, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009, in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late William R. Sholly. She was born in Lebanon, on May 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Clyde and Genevieve Garman Gruber. She was a retired LPN, having worked for the Good Samaritan Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lebanon. She lived for her family and took care of her mother, mother- in-law, and stepfather until they passed away. She enjoyed cooking, doing crafts, spending time with her friends, and having Bible study in her home with her friends from the church. She loved the sunshine and watching the birds and her flowers. She is survived by children, Robin and wife, Darlene Sholly of Middleburg, Wendy Smiley of Lebanon, Tammy, wife of Steve Collins of Bethel, and Jody, wife of Steve Boger of Annville; grandchildren, Erik Snavely of Bethel, Jamie Cikovic of Lebanon, Tara Kline of Annville, Erin Collins of Bethel, Jennifer Farley of Princeton, W.Va., Aaron Smiley of Lebanon, and Kristina Smiley of Ohio; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Farley of Panama City, Fla., Marley Rae Smiley, and Harrison Maxwell Russo; step greatgrandchildren, Braden and Steven Jamerson.; brother, Frederick and wife, Phyllis Powell; and sister-in-law, Anna Sholly. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th & Cumberland Sts., Lebanon. Interment will be made in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Viewing will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1263, Lebanon, PA 17042.
