  Thomas J. Sholly LEBANON Thomas J. Sholly, 73, died Monday, December 7, 2009, 
  at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born September 23, 1936, in Lebanon, 
  he was a son of George and Ruth (Getz) Sholly. Mr. Sholly was a member of 
  Covenant United Methodist Church and the Weavertown Fire Dept. and Fire Police, 
  as well as Blue Max Bingo. He enjoyed teaching Sunday school and visiting shut-
  ins. He also enjoyed bingo and fire police activities. Surviving are his 
  mother, Ruth Getz; a daughter, Teresa Loser; a son, George Sholly; four 
  stepchildren, Kathy Elliott, Butch Baylor, Dan Baylor, and Dale Baylor; nine 
  grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Ed Getz; and two sisters, Lucy 
  Steiner and Linda VanBrunt. He was preceded in death by his father, George 
  Sholly; his stepfather, Raymond Getz; four brothers, George, Bill, Cyril, and 
  Raymond Sholly; and a sister, Jean Reed. A memorial gathering will be held on 
  Sunday, December 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Blue Max Bingo Hall, Lebanon. In 
  lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the 
  Weavertown Fire Company. Arrangements are by Auer Cremation Services of PA, 
  Inc., Harrisburg.
