  Verna U. Shushnar, 96, of the Countryside Christian Community, 200 Bellann 
  Court, Annville, died there Sunday, May 31, 2009. She was the wife of the late 
  Joseph Shushnar. Born in Fredericksburg on May 28, 1913, she was the daughter 
  of the late Henry F. and Stella Bettleyon Umberger. She was employed as a 
  registered nurse for 28 years at Ursinus College, Collegeville. She was a 1931 
  graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1934 graduate of Albert Einstein School 
  of Nursing, Philadelphia. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral 
  services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Countryside 
  Christian Community. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg. 
  Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1-2 PM at the Chapel. Kreamer Funeral 
  Home and Crematory, Annville, is in charge of arrangements.
