  Herbert C. Sims, age 94, formerly of Wernersville died Sunday morning in the 
  Albright Campus of the ECC Retirement Village, Myerstown, where he had resided 
  since October 2003. He was the widower of Florence E. Yoder Sims, who passed 
  away July 19, 2005. He was the son of the late Edmund and Charlotte Gibson 
  Sims. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the pacific 
  islands. Herbie was a meter reader for Met-Ed, retiring in 1979 after 10 years 
  of service. He is survived by two daughters, Sandra J., wife of Donald Moyer of 
  Bernville, and Carol A., wife of Jeffrey D. Shroyer of Annville. There are also 
  seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by one 
  brother, Russell Sims; and three sisters, Florence Palms, Regina Hunsberger and 
  Mary Williams. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Milkins 
  Funeral Home Inc., 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, with the Rev Dana Logan 
  officiating. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. 
  A viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. 
  Memorial contributions are to be made to the ECC Retirement Village, 440 E. 
  Lincoln Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067.
