Smith, Brian D.    
 

Brian D. Smith, 48, of Palmyra passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009, at his 
home. Born July 15, 1960, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Stephen P. 
and Elaine (Reynolds) Smith. He worked at the Pennsylvania State Police 
Academy, was a member of the Campbelltown American Legion Post 831 and was the 
widower of Kim L. (Conrad) Smith, who passed away April 13, 2008. Surviving are 
his stepson Joshua, husband of Michele Swoope; sisters Lisa, wife of Mark 
Henninger and Darrah, wife of Joe Goldberg; and children Elaine, Stevie, and 
Joey; motherin-law Constance J. Conrad; brother-in-law Fred, husband of Jean 
Conrad; step-brother Will VanDuzer; and his beloved dog Millie. Visitation will 
be held 10:00 – 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 
North Grant Street, Palmyra. Interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, will 
be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the 
National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, PO Box 303, Flourtown, PA 190310303 or the 
American Heart Association, PO Box 1263, Lebanon, PA 17042.
