  Donald J. Smith LEBANON Donald J. 'Smitty' Smith, 74, died Saturday, September 
  12, 2009, in the Lebanon VA Med Center. He was the husband of Fern E. Lebo 
  Smith, to whom he would have been married for 52 years on September 14. He was 
  born in So. Lebanon Twp., son of the late George S. Smith and Marguerite E. 
  Light Smith Miller. Donald was retired from Raymark, Manheim. He was an Air 
  Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had attended the Midway Church of the 
  Brethren. In addition to his wife, surviving are children, Michelle, wife of 
  Harry Hansell of Richland, Michael Smith of Lebanon, and Patty, wife of James 
  Sourwine of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; brothers, Harold 
  Smith of Mt. Zion, George Smith and wife, Rosemarie, and Henry J. Smith Sr, all 
  of Lebanon, Wayne Smith of Schaefferstown, and David Smith of Lebanon; sisters, 
  Annetta, wife of Edward Brucker of Kansas City, Mo., and Joyce, wife of Daniel 
  Pauley of Reading; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 
  grandson, Terry Hansell; sisters, Lucille Smith and Hilda Rittle; and 
  stepfather, J. Walter Miller. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at Rohland 
  Funeral Home, Inc, 5th & Cumberland St., Lebanon, where a viewing will be held 
  Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Interment Midway Church of the Brethren Church 
  Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice Unit of 
  the Lebanon VA Med Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave, Lebanon 17042.
