  Evelyn P. Smith, 93, of West Lebanon died Monday, April 27, 2009 in the Good 
  Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Smith Sr. 
  She was born in Tulpehocken Twp., Berks County on December 18, 1915, daughter 
  of the late William and Eva Oxenrider Troxel. She was a member of Grace 
  Independent Church, 2120 Lehman St., Lebanon PA 17046. Evelyn enjoyed making 
  opera fudge along with her son Raymond for many years. She also loved to cook. 
  She is survived by her sons: Raymond H. Smith and wife Earlene, Lebanon; Ronald 
  G. Smith Sr., Lebanon; grandsons: Stephen R. Smith and wife Tammy, Lebanon; 
  Ronald G. Smith Jr. and wife Trudi, Mt. Joy; Richard A. Smith Jr., Lebanon; 
  Michael Smith, Lebanon; granddaughters: Candace Smith, Jonestown; Lori and 
  husband Thomas Snader, Pottsgrove, PA; six greatgrandchildren; sister: Florence 
  Roland and former daughter-in-law; Linda Smith Trautman. She was preceded in 
  death by her son Richard A. Smith Sr., two brothers and one sister. Funeral 
  services will be held today in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., 
  Lebanon at 11:00 AM where a viewing will be held beginning at 10:00 AM. 
  Interment will be held in Ebenezer "Covenant" Cemetery. In lieu of flowers 
  contributions may be made to her church.
