  Frederick A. Smith MANHEIM Frederick A. Smith, 84 of Gretna Springs, died 
  Friday, August 7, 2009, at Spang Crest Nursing Home, Lebanon. He was the 
  husband of the late Mae A. Sheehan Smith. Born in Lebanon, on September 27, 
  1924, he was the son of the late Graydon and Naomi Swalm Smith. Mr. Smith had 
  been manager of Nichols Department Store and was a member of Trinity United 
  Methodist Church, Lebanon. He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Judith Long of 
  Lebanon; grandchildren, Sheile Kauffman of Lebanon, and Sharon, wife of Todd 
  Yancey of Lebanon; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 
  held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 10, at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. 
  Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the 
  American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by the Taylor-Ruffner 
  Funeral Home, Inc, 712 Chestnut St., Lebanon.
