  Sarah M. Smith LEBANON Sarah M. Smith, 68, died Friday, September 4, 2009, in 
  Spang Crest Manor. She was the wife of Henry J. Smith, Sr. She was born in 
  Cornwall, on January 19, 1941, daughter of the late Albert Mertz, Sr. and the 
  late Sallie Livering Mertz. She was a retired RN. She had been a member of 
  Kochenderfer's United Methodist Church, Lebanon, and the Lebanon County 
  Historical Society. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, 
  Rebecca E., wife of David Garloff of Lebanon; son, Henry J. Smith, Jr. of 
  Lebanon; grandchildren, Sean Donato of Lebanon and Rachel Donato of Lebanon; 
  sister, Daisy Hoy of Lebanon; and brother, Albert Mertz, Jr. and wife, Connie 
  of Myerstown. She was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Ann Smith, and 
  sister, Virginia Spayd. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at 
  Rohland Funeral Home, Inc., 5th and Cumberland Sts., Lebanon, where a viewing 
  will be held Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Grand View 
  Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cornwall Manor, 
  P.O. Box 125, Cornwall, PA 17016.
