  Emerson H. Snavely, 87, of The Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb Rd. 
  Palmyra died Thursday June 25, 2009 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the 
  husband of Elsie M. Weik Snavely to whom he had been married to for the past 60 
  years. Born in Rapho Township Lancaster County on November 18, 1921 he was the 
  son of the late Jacob N. and Martha Metzler Snavely. He was a member of the 
  Annville Church of the Brethren, Loyal Bible Sunday School Class and a former 
  deacon and head usher. He also was involved with Disaster Relief for many 
  years. He was a retiree of RuttMartin Kitchens. Surviving in addition to his 
  wife is a son Jay L.Snavely and wife Elsie Bryant-Snavely of Harrisburg, 
  brother Carl Snavely of Hershey; two granddaughters Ammy wife of Jeff McCann of 
  Campbelltown and Cherie wife of Keith Fernsler of Cleona; three great-
  granddaughters Ashley and Rachel McCann and Leah Fernsler. He was preceded in 
  death by brothers Earl and Clarence Snavely and a sister Anna Grace Brandt. 
  Funeral services will be held Monday June 29, 2009 at 10:00AM from the Annville 
  Church of the Brethren, 495 Maple Street, Annville, PA 17003. Burial will be in 
  South Annville Cemetery, S. Annville Twp. Viewing will be held on Sunday June 
  28, 2009 from 6:00-8:00PM from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory 618 E. 
  Main St. Annville and also one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu 
  of flowers contributions can be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at the Lebanon 
  Valley Brethren Home, 1200 Grubb Rd. Palmyra, PA 17078.
