  Frances W. Spangler, 85, of StoneRidge Village, 440 E. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown, 
  Pa., died Friday, February 6, 2009, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was 
  the wife of Raymond H. Spangler, to whom she would have been married 65 years 
  on April 12. Born in Canton, Pa. on May 9, 1923, she was the daughter of the 
  late William W. and Esther (Dutcher) Watts. She had been a personnel assistant 
  at Whitmoyer Laboratories, Myerstown, Pa. for many years, retiring in 1985. She 
  was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown, Pa.; a former member of 
  the Myerstown Womens Club, and enjoyed making quilts. In addition to her 
  husband, she is survived by a daughter Linda wife of Harry A.Thompson of 
  Wyomissing, Pa.; a son Alvin W. husband of Karen M. Spangler of Myerstown; 
  grandchildren Francy L. Reigert, Hilary A. Thompson, Andrew R. Thompson, 
  Samantha L. Thompson and Lindsay S. Thompson; 2 greatgrandchildren; several 
  nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Murray D. Watts and 
  sisters Viola Connerty and Isabel Suhr. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 
  February 12, 2009, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., 
  Myerstown. Viewing Thursday at 10 am. Interment at New Union Cemetery, 
  Myerstown.
