   William M. Spangler, 90, formerly of 328 E. Maple St., Cleona, died Thursday, 
   March 26, 2009, at the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. He was the husband of the 
   late Ruth A. Siegfried Spangler, who died September 22, 2006. Born in 
   Shellsville on June 8, 1918, he was the son of the late C.W. and Catherine 
   Miller Spangler. William was employed by Bethlehem Steel as a line burner. He 
   was a member of the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, Hershey. William 
   enjoyed NASCAR, Phillies baseball and hunting. Surviving are sons Gene E. 
   Spangler of Fort Mills, S.C., William O. Spangler of Drums, Pa., and Dale E. 
   Spangler, husband of Cheri of Mooresville, N.C.; daughters Georgia Firestone of 
   Lebanon, June Hoover of Lebanon and Nancy, wife of Thomas Dillard of Cleona; 
   brothers Clyde Spangler, husband of Birdie of Lebanon, John Lester Spangler of 
   Colorado, Robert Spangler, husband of Beverly of California, Floyd "Boots" 
   Spangler, husband of Mildred of Palmyra; sister Mable Neidigh of Hummelstown; 
   16 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren; and five great-greatgrandchildren. 
   William was preceded in death by brothers Elmer Spangler, Jacob Horace "Andy" 
   Spangler and Earl "Jack" Spangler; sisters Louise Eschleman, Marie Howard and 
   Alma Boger. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Spring 
   Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 E. Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033. Burial 
   will be held in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Viewing will be held on Saturday 
   from 10-11 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., 
   Annville, and additionally from 1-2 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.
