  Maxwell Spotts ANNVILLE Maxwell Spotts, 99, of Lebanon Valley Home, died on 
  Thursday, December 17, 2009, at the home. He was born Tuesday, April 12, 1910, 
  to the late Levi and Kate J. Kilmoyer Spotts in Lebanon. He worked for 
  Bethlehem Steel Corporation and part time at Harold's Furniture. He was a 
  member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lebanon. He was a member of 
  the Men's Brotherhood of his church, the Retired Steelworkers, and had served 
  as judge of elections in his former voting district. He enjoyed going to the 
  Senior Center and the Phillies. During World War II he served as an Air Raid 
  Warden. Surviving are daughter, Barbara Nye of Lebanon; grandchildren, Michael 
  Nye and companion, Susan Scheaffer of Maytown, and Jedd Nye of Annville; three 
  great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in 
  death by wife, Miriam I. Bentz Spotts, on November 23, 1993; brothers, Chester, 
  Allen, Levi, Ira, and John Spotts; and sisters, Hilda Spotts, Katherine 
  Savasito, and Leah McGovern. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, 
  December 22, 2009, at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., 
  Lebanon. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. 
  Entombment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Memorial 
  contributions can be sent to Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 723 
  Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to 
  serve the family with the arrangements.
