Stauffer, 81, passed away at home on Thursday, December 31, 2009, following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Elizabeth E. 'Betty' Keller Stauffer, who died in 2006. Born in Earl Township, he was the son of the late Abram and Bertha S. Stauffer. Edwin owned and operated a farm in Lebanon County; he also worked at the former Calcite Quarry, Lebanon. For many years he was a faithful deacon at the Lititz Dunkard Brethren Church and in his latter years he was a member of the Brethren Fellowship Church, Ephrata. His interest included gardening, traveling and he was very devoted to his church and family. Surviving are five children, Galen L., husband of Donna Stauffer of Bernville, Lucy J., wife of Timothy M. Siegrist of Manheim, Sally A., wife of James Meyers of Iowa, Mary Lou, wife of Timothy Kasza of Michigan, and Edward L., husband of Linda Stauffer of Lebanon; 35 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Rauser of Ephrata; two daughters-inlaw, Joyce Stauffer of Myerstown, and Sheila Stauffer of Ohio; and a sisterin-law, Estella Stauffer of Ephrata. He was preceded in death by two sons, Glen L. and Robert K. Stauffer; two sisters, Martha Eberly, Anna Keller; and a brother, Abram Stauffer. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Lititz Dunkard Brethren Church, Clay Road, Lititz, on Monday, January 4, 2010, at 10 a.m. Interment in Millbach Cemetery, Millcreek Township, Lebanon County. There will be a public viewing at the church on Sunday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. with additional viewing time at the church on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
