  Ellen V. Stauffer, 86, formerly of Denver, Pa., died Wednesday, February 25, 
  2009, at ManorCare, Lebanon, Pa. Her husband, Aden M. Stauffer, died August 5, 
  1988. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Katherine 
  Bernhart Matz. She was employed at Miller-Hess Shoe Co. Akron, A.N. Wolf Shoe 
  Co. Denver, and the bakery at Hollinger's Farm Market in Ephrata. She was a 
  member of Reamstown Church of God, where she was a former Sunday school teacher 
  and pianist. She graduated from Reading High School in 1941. She and her 
  husband had been missionaries in Cuba for one year. Surviving are two sons, 
  Glenn A. Stauffer and Mark K. (Lori) Stauffer, both of Lebanon; two 
  grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers and one sister. Funeral 
  Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Roseboro Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St. 
  Denver, Pa., at 3 p.m., with a viewing from 2-3 p.m. Interment in Fairview 
  Cemetery Annex, Denver, Pa.
