  Joan H. Sweigart, 82, of 624 W. Main St., Schaefferstown, died Saturday, April 
  11, 2009, in ManorCare, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Del Tollefson. 
  She was born July 24, 1926, in Jonestown, a daughter of the late John Y. and 
  Mary May Brandt Gettle. Joan was formerly employed at RCA in Lancaster, 
  Gettle's Excavating in Newmanstown and retired from WarnerLambert in Lititz, 
  where she was a member of their 25 year club. She loved baby sitting her 
  grandchildren, gardening and horse racing. She is survived by a son, Neal E. 
  Gettle Sr. and wife Cynthia of Florida; a daughter, Linda, wife of Jay May Sr. 
  of Lititz; 11 grandchildren; 25 greatgrandchildren; five greatgreat-
  grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Hess; a great-
  grandson, Paul Hess; six brothers; and three sisters. Funeral service will be 
  held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Clauser Funeral Home, North Carpenter Street, 
  Schaefferstown, with a viewing beginning on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will 
  be made in the Ebenezer "Greenwood" Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions 
  may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1274, 
  Lebanon, PA 17042.
