  Anna M. Swisher, 95, of Hearthstone Manor, formerly of Avon Heights, went to be 
  with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. She was the wife of the late David 
  B. "Dutch" Swisher Sr. She was born in Reading, Pa., on June 26, 1913, daughter 
  of the late John E. and Rebecca Derr Patches. Anna was an active member of Avon 
  Zion U.M.C., where she participated on several trips to the Redbird Mission in 
  Kentucky. She is survived by sons David B. Swisher Jr. and wife Ethel, Kenneth 
  J. Swisher and wife Carole of Fayetteville, Pa., Edwin C. Swisher and wife 
  Dolores of Fairfield, Calif., Raymond D. Swisher and wife Mary Ellen of 
  Lebanon, Russell G. Swisher and wife Rose of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; 21 
  greatgrandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren; sister Garland Strickland 
  of Florida. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald J. Swisher; grandsons 
  Ronald J. Swisher and Kenneth J. Swisher Jr. Funeral services will be held on 
  Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Avon Zion United Methodist 
  Church, 1205 E. Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042, where a viewing will be held 
  beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be held in Grand View Memorial Park, 
  Annville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her church. The 
  Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon, is handling the arrangements.
