  Mary L. Szczesny, 87, of The Willows, Lebanon, died Friday, March 6, 2009 at 
  Palmyra Nursing Home. She was born August 13, 1921 in Shenandoah, daughter of 
  the late Charles and Mary Kazlauskas Banonis. She was a member of the Catholic 
  Church of St. Cecilia. She was a member of the Lithuanian Women's Club, 
  American Legion Auxiliary, and the Senior Center, all of Frackville. Surviving 
  is daughter Marlene Szczesny of Union City, New Jersey; nephews Michael Halupa, 
  Ronald Halupa and Robert Halupa. She was preceded in death by husband Stanley 
  G. Szczesny (3/2/2001) and siblings Arlene Halupa and Charles Banonis. Viewing 
  is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 6-8 PM at Christman's Funeral 
  Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, with Recitation of the Rosary at 
  7:30 PM. Funeral Service Friday at 9 AM in the funeral home followed by Mass of 
  Christian Burial Friday at 10 AM at Catholic Church of St. Cecilia, 120 E. 
  Lehman Street, Lebanon. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
