Theal HERSHEY Harry Baker Theal, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2009, at his home. He was the widow of Mildred B. and Ruby M. Theal. He was born Saturday, January 29, 1916, in Hanoverdale to the late Samuel and Jenny Baker Theal. He was an active member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren where he served faithfully. He was retired from the Milton S. Hershey School where he held many positions including bus driver. He enjoyed golf, bowling, wood working, and spending the winter months in Florida. He is survived by four sons, Donald E. and wife, Gloria of Hershey, Robert L. and late wife, Katleen of Manchester, Harry J. and wife, Jayne of Florida, Michael H. of Hershey; five grandchildren, Donald E., Jr. and wife, Cynthia of Palmyra, Kimberly A. Kahler and husband, Thomas of Dover, Stacey L. Warner of California, Shelly L. Woody and husband, Dean of North Carolina, Susan R. Ramos and husband, Rame of Montana; six great-grandchildren, Joseph M. and wife, Ashley of Palmyra, Daniel T. Kahler, Melissa D. Kahler, Jonathan D. Kahler, all of Dover, Malachi C. Ramos of Montana, India Woody of North Carolina; one greatgreat-grandchild, Addison; and two sisters, Mary Gerbrich of Elizabethtown and Sarah Brant of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher R.; two brothers, David and John; and one sister, Martha Hostetter. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, with Pastor Dennis W. Garrison officiating. Friends and family are invited for a time of viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and again on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in the Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 100 Brown Street, Suite 23, Middletown, PA 17057.
