  Doris S. Tice, 89, of Hershey died Monday, March 30, 2009, in the Twin Oaks 
  Nursing Center in Campbelltown. She was born June 27, 1919, in Ono, daughter of 
  the late Robert and Mamie (Walmer) Shuey. Doris was a member of Bethany Church 
  of the Nazarene, Harrisburg, past member and director of the Lebanon Valley 
  Gospel Band, and a member of The Shuey Marimba Trio. Surviving are a son, Ted 
  W. Tice, and his wife, Julie of Hershey; grandchildren Jessica Lynn Tice and 
  Justin Wesley Tice of Hershey; siblings Sallie Sholley of Lewisburg, David 
  Shuey of Campbelltown, Joyce Swope of Hummelstown, Vivian Paxson of Lebanon; 
  and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin C. 
  Tice, and brothers Theodore and Wilbur Shuey. A visitation will be held 
  Thursday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Route 
  422 and Lucy Avenue, Hershey. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 
  2009, at 11 a.m. in the Fishburn United Methodist Church in Hershey. A 
  visitation will also be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in 
  the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial 
  contributions be made to Heartland Hospice, 217 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, 
  PA 17601.
